Not only The Barracks
The Casermetta is a historic Vigezzino building built in the second half of the 1800s, which began as a Family Villa and was used for many years as military barracks. When the occupation by the armed forces ended, the structure passed into the hands of a local historical family who restored it to its original beauty. In 2020, La Casermetta is purchased by the company Zoni S.r.l., is remodeled and opened to tourists in 2022.
The company offers two more unique proposals: the attic apartment inside La Casermetta and a loft-style apartment on Lake Maggiore.
